Intrepid Lepid is out!

After around 3 months of development, we are proud to announce that Intrepid Lepid is finally out for free!

The game started as a pitch for a Game Design lesson. When Chiara (the game designer) presented this pitch to Simon (the programmer/composer), he told that he wanted to push the idea further and make it a real game. They asked Charline (artist) and Thomas (sound designer) to join them to start the project, just after finishing their big school projects, and before starting their next one.

Pitch

Nothing brings more shame to Lepid's relatives than knowing their youngest child lacks a special talent. In a family where everyone is expected to excel at one art or another from their early childhood, Lepid's mediocrity was good enough a reason to keep him isolated in his bedroom and to torment him the rare moments he entered his parents' sight.

Resigned to spend his loveless days on his own, Lepid one day receives a message from his older sister, Libelle, who recently escaped this mad environment and is determined to get him out.

Follow Libelle's instructions throughout the house, solve puzzles and confront your tyrannical relatives to gain enough confidence to step out the front door!

What next?

We will follow what the public has to say about the game, make a few updates to fix bugs and weird things if our players find some (Spoiler: they will find some).

All the team will start working on their 2nd year project, so keep in touch by following everyone. We will try to make Intrepid Lepid find its public, if you want to help, if you liked the game, please post something on your social networks, write a blog article, make a let's play video, etc. We would be really happy to read/see that, and will try to share it.

Spoiler: they actually did, and I had to fix really quickly a blocking bug.
